Howard passed away on July 28th 2023, aged 93. He was always interested in water, especially conscious of those in developing countries who did not have access to clean drinking water or water for crop irrigation and this led him to study for an MSC in Water Resources. We took a collection at his funeral for WaterAid, as he wished.
